Taku Satoh Design Office is a Tokyo-based design team. They aren't bound to a specific style or method, but rather enjoy being involved in a variety of design practices. Their view is that there is virtually nothing unrelated to design. Each and every project is unique and distinctive, and therefore each project requires a fresh approach. Starting with the product development of Nikka’s “Pure Malt”, he created well-known package designs for the top brands in Japanese market share such as Lotte’s “Xylitol” chewing gum series and Meiji’s “Oishii Gyunyu” milk. He conceived the logo marks for the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa. He has served as art director for the “Nihongo de Asobo” children’s program on NHK’s educational channel, overall supervisor of the “Design Ah!” children’s program on the same channel, and the overall Director of 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT gallery.
